
Make sure you select a simulator which has the Google Play gameservices icon next to it else you won’t be able to test the Gameservices. There you can select the AVD manager which you can use to create a simulator and launch it as well. When you launch Android Studio you will see a little cogwheel at the buttom of the startup screen. Simulators can be started through the Android Studio application.
